Many residents want a non social media based place to get information and updates about our community. The association provided experience could definitely be improved upon. The current fragmented system of social media pages, whatsapp groups, and email lists barely work for those of us that habitually open up social media apps.

I'll keep names out unless they ask to have it shown. In discussions about potential platforms, one resident suggested the TownSq app, which looks like it would be a perfect option. There are a number of different options or even the option of doing nothing, but doing anything official through the HOA will take at least 2 months just to be initiated. RussellRanch.net will be the attempt of resident volunteers to bridge the gap and hopefully have something useful for all of us to use until something better or official comes along.

Another resident would like to have a big neighborhood spreadsheet of important links, businessess, names, numbers, information, and our experience that we can all access and contribute our own suggestions to.

And another resident wants to see this become a great online forum for all things happening in the neighborhood and is eager to provide content.

I'd like to see a section on the page for each committee to do whatever they want.

I think we can get a lot of those wishes going fairly easily, albeit maybe in a clunky fashion.
